Rebuilding Revival Center Cadillac
Donation protected
Tragically, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, Revival Center Church in Cadillac, Michigan, was destroyed in a fire. Nothing of the building or it’s contents was able to be salvaged. The pastors and congregation now face the monumental task of relocating their congregation to another facility while they attempt to build a new house of worship. In spite of the fire, Revival Center has pushed forward, continuing their ministries without missing a beat. Pastor Markham has said, "We only know how to go forward." Other congregations in their city and around the U.S. have come along side them to make sure they succeed.
The people and leaders of Revival Center are resolute in their confidence in God’s goodness and ability to provide. Your gift will act as a further testimony of His goodness.
About the fire:
It has been officially determined by local authorities that the cause of the fire was corroded underground wiring.
Are they insured?
Yes, Revival Center does have insurance. Though their insurance was sufficient to replace the building they lost, Revival Center had begun planning an expansion project because their building was no longer sufficient for the growth they had been experiencing, both in their congregation and their expanding ministries to "bless the children, the poor, and the saints." You can be a part of expanding the footprint of a ministry that blesses so many outside of their local congregation.
About Revival Center:
The Revival Center church was established in 1957. This particular building was built in 2002 under the leadership of Will & Pat Markham. It was the home to many ministries, including the Cadillac Community Food & Clothing Pantry & City Serve. Revival Center Church was also the meeting place for many community programs, such as Narcotics Anonymous, Cadillac Community Chorus, Cadillac Association of Homeschooled Athletes (CAHA), and a Classical Conversations (CC) Christian Homeschool Community.
