Mike Walsh's battle with Covid-19 and ongoing recovery has been the story of a miracle. After contracting this dreadful disease in December 2020, Mike endured over 100 days on a ventilator and multiple complications...his chances for recovery were slim. But Mike is a fighter and despite the odds, he has persevered. After months in the ICU at Newton-Wellesley, followed by rehabilitation at the Spaulding Rehab Hospital, there is now the prospect of Mike coming home. But Mike's recovery is far from complete. Once home, Mike will have ongoing needs with substantial costs as he continues his recovery. Modifications to the Walsh home are needed including the addition of an accessible bedroom and bath, a wheelchair ramp into the home, a handicap accessible van, medical equipment, and ongoing nursing care and therapy. The Miracle for Mike started months ago with our thoughts and prayers for Mike, as well his wife Laura, and sons, Michael, Zach and Brendan. We want to carry this miracle forward with our continued support. Your contribution to the Mike Walsh Recovery Support Trust will be greatly appreciated.
