Hi, my name is Kathy Knight. I am 63 years young and I live with Elvis, Nemo and Jessi. My puppy, cat and turtle.
     13 years ago a pickup truck crossed into my lane and we hit at 55mph. 
     Since then my life has never been the same!

     Since the accident I have had 25 surgeries(ankle, back, shoulder, knee and stump). All directly domino effecting from the severe ankle injury I sustained from the accident.


     Of which 3 of these were amputations that have left me an above the knee amputee.
     Unfortunately I did not have success wearing a prothsesis.



     I will be needing future surgeries to continue to address all the trauma my body has sustained due to the accident.
     All of this has led me to need to reach out to Family, Friends and Caring
Strangers, asking for help in purchasing a Handicap Wheelchair Accessible vehicle.


     This will allow me to not have to rely on limited cab service or friends and family to do for me what I want to be doing for myself.
     Having this van will give me back my FREEDOM and the opportunity to live my life INDEPENDENTLY again!

     Elvis and I learned too kayak!
