Hi, I’m Donovan. I’m 11 years old and I’ve been living with Type 1 Diabetes since I was 7. I wear a Dexcom and insulin pump every day, but sometimes my technology doesn’t catch when my blood sugar is dangerously high or low. That can be scary, especially at night when I’m sleeping. That’s why I’m raising money for a Diabetic Alert Dog. My dog could alert me to blood sugar changes, wake me if I’m low, and get help if I need it. It would be like having a superhero best friend with me 24/7. ❤️ I made this fundraiser myself because I want to help my mom, too. She worries about me every day, especially when I’m sleeping, and I want her to have a little more peace of mind.
