My name is Yassine, a young journalist from Gaza. I never imagined that one day I would have to ask strangers for help simply to continue my education and support my family.

The war has turned our lives upside down. We have experienced fear, loss, destruction, and uncertainty, while struggling to afford the basic necessities we need to get through each day. Our family’s financial situation has become extremely difficult, and even simple things that once felt normal have become a challenge.

But despite everything, I refuse to give up on my dream.

I want to continue my education and build a future through journalism. I want to keep learning, develop my skills, and use my voice to tell the stories of my people and the reality we are living through.
