Happy Retirement Bernarda!!

For those of you who spend your days studying in the Science atrium (like myself), I'm sure you have at some point met Bernarda behind the Tim Horton's cash register. Even if you didn't know her by name, Bernarda has always been so kind and refers to everyone as "dear". She is always in the best mood possible day after day, and treats every student like her own. Every time I go up to grab my usual coffee, I am greeted by Bernarda's infectious smile and loving energy. She makes studying that much easier.

Bernarda is retiring and her last day is on Monday. For those of you who would like to give her a proper Golden Hawk send off (and a good deed for the holiday season!), please show your support by donating to this page. Every dollar will be given to Bernarda as a special thank you for her time here at Laurier and I will present it to her on Monday December 19th at 11:30 am which is her last day here.  The goal of $1,000 is not important, I just want to raise whatever we can to show that the students are going to miss her.
