Explorer Post #190 is a law enforcement explorering post located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. We are hosted by United States Border Patrol. There are currently 9 explorers with the post.
We are attempting to raise the funds needed to travel to Washington DC for National Law Enforcement Memorial Week.
Although we are hosted by Border Patrol, we do not receive any federal funding and depend upon the community and individual people to keep us active.
This is the largest endeavor we have attempted, but we would not be trying to do this if it wasn't something we thought was possible.
The Memorial Week happens in May which as of right now gives us 6 months to pull the necessary funds needed to make this happen.
We are attempting to raise $15,000 that is the amount needed to pay for total costs for all 9 explorers to travel to DC. That will cover flights, hotels, food, travel, and any other expenses.
