Help Teach 1,000 Chicagoans to Read

Tax deductible
Everywhere Wireless and Literacy Works have joined forces for Chicago Tribune's Printers Row Lit Fest , to be held in the South Loop on June 10th and 11th.   The partnership will collect donations on location in exchange for t-shirts, books and comics that have been donated by EW and its partners.  All donations will go directly to Literacy Works to facilitate their continued mission of literacy and digital literacy, of which EW plays a pivotal role every day through the sale of affordable, high-speed Internet.  Everywhere Wireless is the same company that provides free Wi-Fi to the Chicago beaches; the company also donated $40,000 to connect 126 recently homeless individuals and families, as part of its partnership with ReVive.  Now, with EW's help and yours, Literacy Works will be able to train 100 volunteer tutors, who will further spread literacy among adults.  If each volunteer can train only 10 adults, $5,000 will have taught 1,000 Chicagoans to improve their basic literacy skills, giving them a strong foundation for work, parenting and community involvement.  We appreciate your support by directly donating here and/or visiting us in June at the Lit Fest.  Thank you!
