Everything Happened at once.
Hi My names johnnie, I'm not entirely sure how to write things like this, But my roomates and I need any kind of help we can get at the moment, to get by.
In short, During a hot day in october here in phoenix, My roomates car shut down, and We had to get it towed because it wouldnt start, or hold a jump.
a few days later, while we were walking my dog at the dog park, My roomate slipped, tore 2 tendons, and their knee cap dislocated entirely, as seen in the photo below.
the doctors were only able to reattach 1 tendon, but not the other.
during this time of recovery, they could not retrieve their car from the impound lot, but as of the past two weeks, we've pulled the money together to get the car home, get the battery replaced, new tires, and get it in running order, just as they started being able to almost walk again, although their insurance did NOT cover the neccasary Physical therapy.
Just yesterday, we had the car taken care of, and were looking into getting body work when we could afford it.
today around the afternoon a teenage driver plowed into them as they were making their usual gentle turn into our parking complex- totalling the car beyond repair. in total almost a grand has been spent getting this car together and running now, and now its unusable.
during the collision, their knee collided against the dash board, and it is now swollen again.
We're not sure how much we need, but we know at this point, we need a new car, and money to get by with at the moment, since all exsisting funds were spent getting the car back together, and they are working on getting back to work once their knee recovers.
Anything at all would help at this point, But i know we can pull through this.
