Every Scholar A Gift (2019)

Sonora Elementary in Springdale, Arkansas serves a high percentage of poverty students.  During the holidays, this can become a big challenge.  It weighs heavy on our hearts to only select a few families to receive help during the holidays.  Several years ago we decided to make a change in how we approached Christmas.  Instead of selecting only a few to receive gifts, we decided to make sure every student received a gift for Christmas.   Our goal is to give each child a gift, book and, if needed, a bag of food to help over the long Christmas break.  Our families and students love this!  In addition, for many of our students school is the main source of food during the week.  Two weeks away can be very hard on some of our families.  Please consider giving to our cause and helping our students have a Merry Christmas.   Thank you for your consideration!
