Everest Base Camp trek for Skye

Donation protected
While Skye loves life and is having fun, not every day is easy for her. Skye is only one of seventeen children ever diagnosed with an extremely rare neural development condition known as 7p22.1. This has slowed Skye’s learning and processing as she continues show very small advancements towards walking and talking. The condition will likely continue to stump her neural development, making even slight improvements worthy of great celebration.

Whilst adjusting to this difficult way of life, at the start of 2017 Skye was diagnosed with Langerhan’s Cell Histiocytosis  This rare form of cancer effects 1:200000 and is currently being treated at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane with a combination of medicine and courage. The treatment is 12 months and Skye will require specialised equipment to be able to adjust to life once it is complete. This has taken a major financial toll on this family and we would love to raise some money to make this journey just that little bit more bearable.

On the 27th march 2018 myself, Daniel Ball and Daniel Minton will embark on our own journey to the base of Mount Everest, a 12 day, 160km trek at high altitude with temperatures below 0 degrees, to raise money to help this family with the ongoing medical bills and to be able to make little Skye's days just that little bit brighter.

please if you could donate any small amount that would be greatly appreciated, none of the donations are going towards funding the trip.

With love

Aaron Charchalis, Daniel Ball and Daniel Minton
