Eventslist Development

£50 of £15,000 goal

Welcome to my Crowdfunding page for Eventslist.org which is a website platform which lists global Mindfulness Events.

The unique offering from Eventslist is that all events listed will be offered by teachers who have been through appropriate teacher training, the website details training credentials for the public to see.  The listing criteria is aligned with other good practice guidance and practices already established in the field and initial design, build and future developments are supported by field leaders.

The platform can provide so much more, such as:

Teachers Listing Area where teachers can be publicly listed and affiliated to Eventslist, a way to further demonstrate their commitment to quality standards.

Teachers Members Area
where listed teachers can share experiences, ideas and materials.

Research support - Eventslist could provide a suite of free research materials which can be tagged onto their booking process via Eventslist and they can evaluate their course impact in more detail.

Other practical features such as allowing teachers to take bookings and payments via the Eventslist system,

I would also like to introduce:

Accessibility Funding
 - Eventslist will provide a pot of funding which listed teachers can drawn on to increase accessibility on their courses to people who would otherwise be prevented from attending events due to financial constraints.

Annual Eventslist Gatherings where event management and the crucial 'container of care' provided by the practical arrangements can be discussed.

To provide the above features and developments I would need to invest at least another £15,000.  I'd very much like to do this to enhance the functions of Eventslist and provide a wrap-round service from listing through to evaluation, however I need some support to build up funds.  The vision is that in future Eventslist will make sufficient revenue to fund its own developments but just now, in the early years, I am looking for public support.

I am hopeful that Eventslist will make a profit in future years and I've made a commitment that a percentage of any annual margin will always go into the Accessibility Fund, the larger the margin the more I can offer the community.

Please consider supporting the development of Eventslist, any amount of donation will be gratefully received and go into the development pot to enhance the offering to teachers and members of the public looking to engage with Mindfulness.

Feel free to send over any queries.  Irrelevant of financial donations or not, your engagement with Eventslist is appreciated and I'm really grateful for the huge volume of support I have been shown since embarking on this venture - I've made so many new friends and found some new pillars of support in my life (both work and personal!), I'm more enthused than ever to support this wonderful field and hope Eventslist can become the mechanism to enhance event experiences for both participants and teachers.

With very warm regards

P.S - If everyone who watched my first LinkedIn post gave £5 I would easily reach my target, proving small amounts of support in big doses really does have an impact!
