In September, I was diagnosed with brain cancer. I spent the majority of my childhood working to shrink spinal cord tumors, and that is why I now use a wheelchair, but I have been cancer free for 10 years. When I received the news that the cancer I once had as a child returned and spread to the lining of my brain I was quite shocked, but not discouraged. I have spent my life fighting with my friends and family directly beside me and I will continue to do so for as long as is required.
Upon recently visiting the Tom Baker Cancer Centre here in Calgary I was told that there was no chemotherapy that would react positively with the type of cancer I have. So I began searching for an alternate solution. Luckily, I am backed by an amazing team of Naturopaths who, throughout my life, have helped me through multiple staph infections, injuries, and the complications of being a quadriplegic. They suggested I try an IV treatment that is known to see success fighting against cancer cells. The side effects are minor (especially compared to chemotherapy and radiation) and the theory behind the treatment makes a lot of sense. I have been receiving treatment for about two months now. I visit my Naturopath 3 times a week and receive an IV for 2 hours. The reason I made this post is because treatment is around $250 CAD per session and I am quickly falling into debt because of it.
Despite all the diversity, I have yet to falter. When I was young, my cancer was cured by a natural treatment from Houston, TX that cost $11,000 USD per month. We fundraised for every penny. And that was before the Internet. That was before I made connections with amazing people all around the world through hardcore, art, sports, and my clothing brand. So I have designed a shirt to raise money to pay for some of my treatment. I have also created this GoFundMe for anyone who is not interested in a shirt but is interested in my story. I plan on staying with this treatment until at least February 28th, 2018 when I have my next MRI to see if the cancer has shrunk. All proceeds from the sale of the shirt as well as money raised from this GoFundMe will go towards paying for treatment.

As I go through this, I will look to my friends and family for positivity and support of any kind. I am absolutely 1000% going to beat this. I have before and I will again. This will not slow me down.
Thank you for everything,
Evan
