Evan Thompson Memorial Fund

The Haslett community and the Haslett Lacrosse Club is mourning the loss of its family member, Evan Thompson, son of Eric Thompson and Patti Morley, and brother to Spencer. Evan loved lacrosse and was a selfless, hard-working player with an incredibly hard shot and an incredibly soft heart. He was a wonderful young man, student, and athlete and he will be greatly missed. 

The Haslett Lacosse Club, at the request of the Thompson family is creating a scholarship fund in Evan's name to help fund costs associated with playing lacrosse at Haslett who would not otherwise be able to afford it. The fund will also provide for high-quality equipment if needed. Once the family feels this need has been met, excess funds will be used to build a memorial for Evan at one of our school or township practice fields. 

The club and the Thompson family appreciate your generosity and the amazing outpouring of support thus far. We hope this page will provide a way for your family to reach out and support theirs, in a way that they believe Evan would want.
