Evan is a sweet, kind-hearted 14 year old who likes to spend time with his family, especially his mom, dad, and older sister Alissa, who recently graduated from high school. During the fall, he enjoys playing under the lights with friends on the Burlington Central Comets football team. During the spring, Evan uses his speed and stamina to participate with friends on the Comets Track and Field team as well. This coming year, he will be a freshman attending Burlington Central High School.

Unfortunately, a recent accident at a pool put Evan in the hospital with a fractured vertebrae high in his neck. He was airlifted to Lutheran General Hospital where he has undergone one surgery so far. Evan has some feeling above the waist, but no feeling below the waist as of now. He and his family are unsure of what is yet to come, but they are trying to stay hopeful!
