Euan's Avro Lancaster flight
The Lancaster I want to fly in is in Hamilton, Ontario at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum . The flight costs $3,500 and I'm trying to raise that money to support my flight in the Lancaster. My parents are going to pay for my travel to and from Hamilton.
This is my dream, my one big thing that i want to do. I hope that people will help me to do this.
In the meantime, we've decided that any additional donations will go to the military museum and CFB Greenwood. They're restoring a Lancaster right now and we'd like to help them out too.
Thanks to everyone for following me and helping me make my dream come true! Euan out!
Euan here to tell you that our bake sale was a complete success. With the help of lots of friends and customers, we raised almost $450!
Here is a whole bunch of pictures from our day:
And here are two news stories from my interviews before and at the bake sale. Thanks so much for your support. Euan out!
Hi Euan, I first heard about your story last night on Global News. Congratulations on succeeding with your mission! Well done! I would also like to thank you very much for your wonderful offer to donate any extra funds you raise to help us restore the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum's Avro Lancaster. We're anxious show you some of the interesting things we're doing when you come visit. It's a lot of hard work, but the Air Force's motto is "Per ardua ad astra"... which basically means "through hard work, we can reach the stars", something you'll get to experience when you take flight in VeRA.
