Jackie's Road to Recovery

Donation protected

On Monday, January 4th,  Jackie Chilton and Wesley Overholser were involved in a vehicle collison resulting in severe injuries.  Unfortunately, Jackie recieved major injuries from a 50 mile an hour impact on her side. As a result of this, she now has 6 pelvic fractures and her sacrum, which is a vertibrae in her lower spine, was also fractured.  Unfortunately, her injuries do not stop there. She also has slight internal bleeding as well as a laceration on the back of her head held together by 6 staples. As of now, she is being flown out of the area for probable pelvic surgery.

The passenger Wesley Overholser is not broken, thankfully,  but bruised and sore.  He is staying in good spirits as much as he can while not leaving her side.
Wesley and Jackie received some unexpected yet wonderful news from the bloodwork. Results shows that Jackie is pregnant! She is expecting September 12th! What this means for the little one is still unknown, but we are hoping for the best!

We are asking for your kind donations to not only help them through these hard times, but to ease any burden of added financial stress.  The money we are trying to raise on behalf of our family will go towards a vehicle to get Wesley to and from work, as well as travel exspenses to visit Jackie, as she is expected to be in the city for about a month.
We are asking for not only for financial assisstance, but for everyones positive thoughts and prayers to help them through this difficult time.
There is also a benefit show that some of their friends have started up for them on Feburary 6th! At the Veterans Hall on H St, in Eureka! There will be local bands to show their support for them! We would love it if everyone could join the fun to benefit Jackie and Wesley!
