About the Award
This award will be given annually in recognition of an outstanding scholarly publication (peer-reviewed journal article, book chapter, or book) published within the last three years in the emerging field of Ecological Forecasting. The scope of the award is broad, spanning any ecological system, process, and spatiotemporal scale. It encompasses research, both basic and applied, that generates predictions or projections, or which advances forecasting methods, tools, theories, or concepts.
Note: If you want a tax-deduction letter from ESA (especially relevant for those making larger donations) you will want to mail a check directly to ESA with the memo listing "Ecological Forecasting Award".
