Rachel Jasse's Recovery Fund

Dear People,

Our wonderful friend Rachel needs our support now! She is recovering from a serious accidental fall she took on Superbowl Sunday. Let’s gather around and give her the love and support she requires to get better faster.

What happened?

On a recent weekend trip to Seattle she slid on the slippery wet stairs of a hotel and fell, seriously injuring herself and breaking her ankle in two places and dislocating it! Ouch!!!!

She had to have emergency surgery and spend 3 days in the hospital and another week on a friends couch before she was released to come home to California. She now is in a lot of pain and using crutches and a walker to get around. She also has a plate and several screws in her ankle!

Although she has Medical Insurance, she is unable to work now and it costs $550 a month and most of her care is not covered by the policy. She won’t know for another 4-6 weeks if another surgery is required to remove some of the hardware.

Her 28 year career as a nanny and her recent food service job required her to be on her feet and in constant motion. She cannot do either of these jobs for at least the next 8-10 weeks.

How can you help Rachel?

My invitation to you is to give generously. If just 60 of us gave $100 each she will easily meet her goal. Don’t let this invitation deter you from giving whatever you can, be it a lesser or greater amount. Whatever you can give will mean a lot to her.

She needs our loving positive thoughts, prayers and other forms of healing energies surrounding her now. This includes visits, rides to shopping and appointments, meals, mini-massages, healing sessions, companionship, wise counsel and lots of love during this time. The uncertainly and trauma associated with this has been quite scary and difficult for her.

Our Donations will help her meet the costs of living, food, transportation, medical fees and supplies. (a knee scooter to help her safely get around and be more independent).
