Pancreatic Cancer Treatment

Hello,
My name is Ernie Johns, today, 11/3/2016 is my birthday, I just turned 61 years old. I live in Florida and have spent most of my life living and working here.

I was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer on 9/30/2016.
Fortunately my cancer was found in the early stages. I am one of the 20% of people diagnosed with this type of cancer that has a chance of survival with proper medical treatment. 

The type of treatment that I need is not available in the state that I live in. I must travel to San Diego, CA. to get the treatments that will save my life.
 One of the toughest things I have had to do in my life (other than having cancer) has been asking my family and friends for help. Fighting pancreatic will be the battle of my life. This battle with Pancreatic cancer will be a big financial burden on me. I will have to pay for the treatments, air fare and a place to stay during recovery, pay bills back home and follow up treatments. I am not going to be able to work full-time  and be able to pay my living expenses as in the past. I have some money but I am going to need help to get enough to get the treatments that will save my life.
Today I am asking you for your help, anything you can do will be a truly appreciated and will go toward my cancer treatments.

Pancreatic cancer is a very aggressive cancer and time is ticking away. The doctors tell me If the cancer spreads to other organs in my body I may not be eligible for the treatments needed at this time. The doctors say I need to begin treatments as soon as possible.  We do not have  a date to start treatments yet...it depends on when I receive enough donations for the procedure...The sooner the better...time is running out!

I have been healthy all of my life, worked hard, exercised, took vitamins, never smoked or used drugs. When I was told that I have cancer I was in total shock. There is no way to describe how you feel when you are diagnosed with cancer. It is something you are not prepared for. Your life changes is a second...I know the treatments I am trying to get will save my life. Your help can make it possible for me to have a healthy, productive life again.
