Epiphany's Roadtrip 2019!

This summer I will be heading back home to the Great Plains to create photographs for my Thesis exhibition in my last year of graduate school! Since I was little I have loved to go out on the road and take photographs of what I see. I have been missing the Wall Drug billboards that line South Dakota’s highways and enticing images of the “World’s Only Corn Palace!” Roadside attractions are spaces that exist to accompany the journey; I am making them my destinations.

During the month of July, I will be heading back home accompanied by my boyfriend, Tim, and brave dog, Winnie! We will be creating art along the way and collecting as many souvenirs as our car can handle. This trip is to create photographs of roadside attractions to complete my Thesis exhibition. The exhibition itself will take place in March 2020 but I will be completing research, photographs, prints, and writing to support this throughout my third year of school.

Unfortunately, this trip is not paid for and I need to fundraise. I have items for sale on my website (www.epiphanyknedler.com), including prints, postcards (created and sent during the trip), and maps, or if you can make a donation at GoFundMe. Anything you can spare can help! Or, if you cannot give funds, I would love any information about places to stop, I would love to hear about them!
