Roger Carlos Family Medical Fund
We have set up an Emergency Fund for Roger Carlos and his family. Please take a few minutes to read this and please join me to help the Carlos Family in their time of need.
As some of you may or may not know, Roger has been living a nightmare this past year and a half. Roger was brutally beaten by 3 San Antonio officers in 2014 all over a mistaken identity. For more information on this please visit the link below:

As a result of his injuries, Roger needed surgery on vertibraes in his neck and decided to move forward with this recently. The suregery was performed on Tuesday, November 3rd. There were complications during the surgery and Roger awoke paralyzed from the chest down. As you can imagine, this has really shaken Roger, his entire family and close friends. Roger will be transferred to a rehabilitation center where he will begin his journey to recovery.
The financial undertaking of something like this is unimaginable. As medical expenses rise, Roger will no longer be able to work and Ronnie will only be able to work part-time, as her main focus is to help Roger and their 3 boys.
Nobody should have to go through this unnessary trauma without the support of family, friends and their community.
The Carlos family are truly grateful for all their blessings in their lives especially their family and friends. Roger is strong in his faith and will keep fighting this long battle ahead. If there is anything that you can donate, please click and help the Carlos family today. No donation is too large or too small.
Also, please share this with as many people as you can.
The Carlos Family thanks you from the bottom of their hearts!
ps. Roger wants to make sure you are squeezing your loved ones each and every day and telling them you love them.

Thank you to all of you who have shared your love and support with my brother Roger and his family. You are a blessing to us and we will always have you in our hearts.
Words cannot express the pride I feel for all the support for my brother. I know once he overcomes this we will all be better human beings for it. Thank you all so much.
Tragic that this happened, tragic that it appears to have "swept under the rug" by the good ole boys protecting each other, and condoned by the handsome police chief. So much for the hope for change brought in by our city manager from San Diego. Perhaps even a powerful chief cannot subdue the tidal wave of police officers asserting power to save face as a group, by disrespecting and abusing the face of the citizen. This speaks to great personal insecurity each cop must have been feeling, being negated by the inflation of group power. It's sociologically their nature. It reminds me of the members of a group of dogs turning against one dog. It's their nature. Or of brood of hens pecking on the blood spots on another. It's simply their nature. This group action is reported by KENS TV as being the work of three individual officers, two named and the other insinuated to be undercover. They should face charge of assault and battery and misuse of office, at least. Let them find other employment, perhaps picking up beer cans for metal redemption. The Chief should be charged with dereliction of duty if intentional, and stupidity if unintentional.
