Marine Graduation for Justus

Donation protected

Justus asked me to sign him into The Marines one year early.  He never had a second thought about serving our Country.  He has always been the ideal child.  My Parents, his Grandparents, passed on April 2013 and April 2014.  He was the older of two wonderful grandsons (both my kids :). My father always said that he was not grown up enough to drink alcohol or use drugs...and Justus took that moto for himself.  Recently I was thinking of all the things that Justus did his Senior year.  I was in a depressive funk after losing my parents but thank God, Justus had been mature since he was a kid.  He handled school (good GPA), Football (started for 4 years, State Champs Freshman Year), Soccer (only played Sr. Year, but varsity), worked at Pizza Hut, has a long-term beautiful girlfriend, handled the inherited farm before leaving for Boot Camp, mentored elementary children, helped take care of an elderly woman in our town, and all the while attending the Early Entry Marines.

With my husband and I having a non-profit Ministry, we didn't have any extra money.  I had to sell a family heirloom in order for us to go to Oklahoma City for the swearing in.  With my husband recently attaining a good job, he can't go with us and we are a paycheck behind.  We are believing for our position to be better very soon.  But for now, we don't have the money to go to California for Justus's Boot Camp Graduation.  I am not wanting to go for myself, but for Justus and Jack, his younger brother, now 15.  Jack is in his 2nd year of JROTC and in the Color Guard.  He is on the Varsity Soccer team, bartered a housekeeping job for a gym membership.  He wants to follow in his brother's direct footsteps.  We don't want to go to Disney or Sea World or anything, we just want to fly down, go to Family Day, Graduation, and then home.

If you know me, you know that I am not one to ask for anything.  For my sons, I would do anything.  Thank you for your consideration.  The graduation is 10/10/14 but I have to buy our tickets as soon as possible.  I have been praying for this and had never heard of "go-fund-me".  I totally believe that Jesus is responsible for this.  Thank you for your consideration and Praise The Lord!!
