The Entanglement made its debut at Ephemerisle 2018 - now we need your help to bring it back to the Delta!

UPDATE AFTER EVENT
: Wow that was a party. Things started with crazy 60+ person deep water shingdig on Thursday night that lasted well into Friday morning, and kept going strong every day after thanks to you beautiful people! Here's a quick video from the talented Sameer Halai from the first sunrise party:

Track Credits: Oona Dahl, Astral Realm & David Hohme, Without Doubt (Rodriguez Jr. Remix)

BUT: even though the party was an unbelievable success, I'm still out of pocket over $1,500. Not only do we have a whole year's worth of storage ahead of us, but there was a bunch of last minute costs, including dunnage bags, extra life jackets, and additional lumber.

Also after so many hours of partying the boat took some dings, including damage to the right pontoon that will require hiring a welder to fix before the boat can go back out on the water. If you had fun on board, can you help cover the cost that it took to make magic happen?

Original listing:
Critics raved about her sunset cruises, afternoon Pink Floyd album listening parties and of course the all-night-long dance floor.  Now that she has proved her ability to make an impact at our favorite watery shindig, we want to reach out to all of you who saw us last year, and all of you that hope to come join us this year, to help the Entanglement make it to Mandaville again in 2019.

The Entanglement has been entirely self-funded by the crew so far, but now that the core of the vessel is made, we need the community to help push us forward for year 2. We have set our fundraising goal to $1,750 which will get us back out there in better shape than ever, including...

- Capacity: Mounting dock floats below deck to allow upwards of 20 party people on board at once!  ($200) + more lifejackets and better lifejacket storage ($75)

- Aesthetic: Major plans for upgrading from 'function' to 'fantastic'  - new decoration scheme and additional lights are in the works for this year ($400+)

- Motor: Purchasing a 25hp motor (we were using a borrowed engine last year) to allow us to leisurely cruise around the waters of Mandeville Point ($500) +

- Gas: for the motor and the generator ($75)

- Layer2 Scaling Solution: Improving the second level for better storage, safety, and organization ($100)

- Storage:  Pays for trailer+boat parking for 2019 to 2020 ($700)

There is no ticket, no bureaucratic org, no central authority at Ephemerisle - it a big part of the charm, and why Ephemerisle evolves and changes more than almost any other event. But raising funds for major community art is essential: it's up to the community to manifest the ephemeral art projects that rumble around the delta every July.
