A dear friend of Rob and I who is like family does not know we are creating a GoFund me page to help them. This person and their family have fallen on hard times financially and are in jeopardy of losing everything. They would be embarrased to know that others in their community knew about their struggle. Therefore, we are respecting their privacy and dignity by keeping their name out of this. We understand if someone does not want to donate because of this. However, we hope those that know us will use our wanting to help as validation.
We are hoping that our friends and strangers alike will bestow their generosity toward our friend and their family during this time of need.
They have exhausted their savings and due to an illness have lost full time employment. They are a veteran and remain in the military reserves, however, it just isn't enough to help them get back on their feet and keep their head above water.
If you are able to help in any way; even $5 will be a blessing and much appreciated. If you aren't able to contribute, just forwarding to someone who might be able to help will be enough.
At some point in our lives, we've all struggled and have prayed for angels to help us. Let's be the angles that answer their prayers and allows them to keep their dignity and get back on their feet.
