Our friend, Emily Sheane, 25, was the victim of a fatal hit and run car crash on March 9, 2016 in Burnaby, B.C.

She was a loving daughter, a dear sister, a devoted girlfriend, and the best friend that anyone could've asked for. Emily's smile, her striking beauty, and her young, adventurous spirit will forever be missed.
On behalf of Emily’s family, we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of condolences, love, and support in the wake of her tragic passing.
The family has been overwhelmed by all of the kind thoughts, words, and prayers, and are truly grateful to those who have paid tribute to Emily on social media and have brought bouquets of flowers to their home and to the crash site in celebration of her life.
The love and support has been amazing. All proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Emily’s family for funeral services. In the event that the funds raised exceed those expenses, the excess amount will be donated to the Police Victim Services of British Columbia.
