Emily's Memorial Service

It is a struggle to come up with the right words to remember Emily. As her brother, DJ, wrote, she was the most bright, amazing, and genuine person that many of us ever had the pleasure of meeting. The many memories that people have posted on her Facebook page bring us back to her infectious smile and the light that she brought into our lives.

This page has been set up to gather contributions toward managing the expenses for the memorial service in celebration of Emily’s life and the lasting impact she made on so many of us. An initial goal of $7,500 has been set and you are both encouraged and thanked for your generosity in supporting this effort to give all of us that loved Emily the chance to mourn, to laugh as she surely would have, and to remember all that she inspired in her short time on Earth.

DJ and their father, Dan, will use these funds to cover expenses related to her memorial services in both CO and PA as well as funeral costs. If any funds are available after the memorial services, they will be donated to a charity involving Emily's passions such as horseback riding, snowboarding, hiking, and suicide and mental health awareness.
