Medical expenses for the RO cats
Donation protected
Dozens of 84 cats seized from the Royal Oak home owned by a hoarding couple on Sept. 30, 2015 were scheduled to die this week, until several animal rescue operations stepped up to save their furry lives. Oakland County Animal Control set a deadline for late this week, at which time they intended to euthanize any of the cats not taken by rescue operations. Two rescue operations came forward to help last week, and an anonymous rescue outfit has since taken those that remained.
The cats were infected with highly-contagious ringworm, which the shelter is not equipped to treat. Sadly, four cats were euthanized due to advanced diseases, including feline leukemia.
The couple was never charged with anything, but their can still be justice for these mistreated animals. Please donate to help them get all the medical treatment they need and to help the rescues be able to afford to care of them.
All donations will go directly to the oragnization that has so kindly stepped up to help these poor cats.
