Elma English School for Children

Donation protected
I've been back from Cambodia for 56 days and I can't help but feel in so many ways that I left a portion of my heart there.
They need SO much help. Their schools need so much help. There is a lack of minimum government funding, a shortage of teaching materials and school facilities. Access to education is severely limited because of the scarcity of schools and classrooms.
Elma English school for children in Siem Reap, Cambodia is trying to raise funds to add on new classrooms to their school. They currently have 430 children attending.
Could you imagine your family yearly income being around $290 a year, you have no access to food banks, government assistance (food stamps, housing, etc) and a lack of good job because big businesses speak English, but you can't speak English because your parents couldn't afford to send you to school or there wasn't a school to be sent to? Cambodia has still yet to rise up from the horrific Khmer Rouge that took over the country in 1975. They are a 3rd world country in desperate need for help. (If you haven't read about the Khmer Rouge, you need to.)
Seeing this country first hand, the beautiful rice fields, so many smiling faces (The Land of Smiles) watching these people work so hard and to make so little left me knowing that they need more help. They are deserving of help.
Anything you can give to Elma School to help build these classrooms is more appreciated than you'll ever know. You may not think $5 can go a long way...but in a country where they make less than $.80 a day, $5 is HUGE!
Thank you for reading, sharing and donating.
Merry Christmas❤
