Elizabeth Lee was a Grace Church School staff member before she was tragically killed last week. Elizabeth was a dearly loved member of our community for 17 years. She was a former parent in the school and served as PA Chair, among many other roles she played in the life of our school.
She was a devoted mother and a friend to many. We are all heartbroken over this unthinkable violence.
The Elizabeth Lee Family Trust has been established to help provide for the education and other critical needs, such as medical coverage, of her children.
Services
There will be a viewing and memorial service at the Greenwich Village Funeral Home, 199 Bleecker Street, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8.
The Funeral will be at Grace Church, 802 Broadway, at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday November 9. A reception will follow in Tuttle Hall.
Condolences may be sent to the family care of Grace Church School, 86 Fourth Avenue, New York, NY 10003.
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone for your donations. Between GoFundMe and physical donations, $169,000 was raised for the family.
The funds are now being turned over to the Elizabeth Lee Family Trust, and the two trustees, Anne McCarty and Daniel Lee will be handling the finances. Please direct any questions to them.
