Elias is Going to Acapella Academy!

Hi! My name is Elias, a 16-year-old non-binary beatboxer based in Philadelphia, PA. This year, I got accepted into A Cappella Academy for vocal percussion (beatboxing)! A Cappella Academy is a prestigious summer camp cofounded by Avi Kaplan, the former bass singer for Pentatonix, and Ben Bram, a Grammy-winning vocal arranger, music director, producer, and educator specializing in contemporary a cappella music. This is super exciting to me because I have been making random noises with my mouth for as long as I can remember, and going here was a dream of mine since I found out about it. When auditions opened, I worked exceptionally hard on an audition video, where I showcased my talents both as a beatboxer and a bass singer, and I got in!

Which is where you come in. I am attempting to try to raise funds to cover the cost of this trip. The camp is in California, and the airfare from Philly all the way there is not cheap. On top of that, camp tuition is $2,500 for all 10 days, covering food, transportation, and housing expenses while I am there.
