Hello everyone. As most of you know Eldon has has a long battle with his health issue's. With multiply hospital visits each year since 2010.
In November he got a job for Valet Waste and was proud of the fact that he was contributing and being able to pay the bills again. But it wouldn't be long before his health got the best of him again.
On Feb 28th 2014 he was hospitalized again. He was released from the hospital on March 3rd. He told his boss of his issue and re-assured them he could return to work that he would have to take it easy. The following his company lost another employee and Eldon's work load tripled. He was picking up trash that weighed up to 60 lbs. or more for over 1600 three story apartments for 4 days strait. His last night he called me to tell me something was wrong his vision was off, he felt light headed and was having severe abdominal pain. I told him to stop working and come home immediately. He slept for the next 2 days non-stop. His pain never subsided, and he started having severe night sweats causing him to change his clothes & bedding at least 7 times through out the night. He finally went to the ER on Sunday March 15th, however after being there for hours and several test run they sent him home telling him he had the flu.
On Monday night his speech was starting to slur and he was starting to sound delusional. I took him on Tuesday morning to the Alliance hospital. They told us that he had high enzyme count in his liver and a abscess in his stomach. They said with his past history they couldn't treat him and needed to transport him to UT Southwest. I asked if they thought it was serious and they said no they were just sending him there as precaution.

I went home made dinner for daughters and finished some work. I decided to turn in around 8 p.m. and realized I had not heard from Eldon yet. As I was getting ready to call him I received a call from the hospital. It was Eldon telling me that they were taking him in for emergency surgery and that he was scared as he really didn't know why and most likely he would end up on a Ventilator afterwards.
I rushed to the hospital to be with him. All they could tell me was that he had a perforated bowl. After several hours of surgery they brought him to ICU and dropped the bomb...they couldn’t find anything wrong with him! He went through major surgery for nothing! They had to keep him on the ventilator for the night. They had him so medicated the said he would be paralyzed for a few hours.
It broke my heart to see his worst nightmare coming true again. I had to be strong and cry silently to myself so he wouldn't hear me. When Eldon started to wake up. He signals for me to get him something to write with and this is what he writes... Ventilator still in. A moment I will never forget for the rest of my life.

I asked the doctors to please to do further testing on his liver.
Today they confirmed that a Cat scan showed dead spots on his liver and they are starting a procedure to drain puss from his liver. This is all we know at this point.
Everyone who knows us...knows are super proud and never ask for help. We have the motto “We will figure it out”. And usually do.
Today I went to go pick my girls up from school and when I went outside I noticed Eldon’s truck was gone. My heart sunk as I know how much he loves his truck. The finance company had repossessed it. I called the finance company to find out how far behind we were. Come to find out we were barely 2 months behind. What is done is done with the truck and it breaks my heart as I know how proud he was of his truck. But now I’m worried about the water, Electricity, my truck payment as it’s our only car now, rent any many more bills. Our total monthly house hold bills come to around $4000. We owe $1100 to get his truck back and that includes the repo fee.
I’m going to list a lot of our business equipment for sale tomorrow. But as you know this will effect our business tremendously.
If you can help us out please know it’s greatly appreciate and we will return the favor as soon as we can. Custom photo slates, custom phone cases, whatever I can do I will do it.
Thank you all!
