Elder Louise Mantla and Family Housefire
Donation protected
On the night of February 23rd, 2019 in the Behchoko community of Rae, the home of elder Louise Mantla was completely destroyed in a house fire. Luckily, no one was injured but nearly all of their possessions were either burned, melted, or destroyed by smoke. This home housed a large family - her two sons, one of her daughters and four of her grandchildren: Zimmy (12 yrs), Ayden (11 yrs), Elliot (10 yrs), and Camel (10 yrs). They have been relocated to smaller house and received a few items by donation but still need help rebuilding their lives. Please give what you can to help this large, tight-knit family.
