Sparkle Cheer

I am the head Sparkle cheer coach at Fossil Ridge High School in Keller, TX, The Sparkle effect is an innovative organization that helps students nationwide create school-based cheerleading teams that bring together students with and without disabilities. The Keller ISD Sparkle cheer team at Fossil Ridge cheers at varsity volleyball, football, and basketball games. They perform at pep rallies and they will be competing at a cheer competition December 19th and 20th. 

I have been selling Sparkle Game Day shirts to help the girls fundraise. I wanted to secretly buy them new big bows for their competition and a cheer jacket to wear at games now that it is getting cold. I sent a faculty email and shared the word with students and ALL SHIRTS WERE SOLD IN THREE DAYS. We had over $400 to spend on our nine Sparkle girls. Unfortunately on October 27th the money was stolen from my desk during third or fourth period. I am devastated. The girls are devastated. 

When I posted on Facebook the situation I was overwhelmed with love and support. I found that a lot of people wanted to donate to the girls.
