Church rebuild

The Flood Christian Church is located on the line of St. Louis County and St. Louis City. We are in a small community that has about 8,000 residents. The Flood as most call us has been in establishment for two years. During our first year we fed over 250 families all from the churches expense budget. We have also been able to support many community projects and our church has assisted the community in providing and hosting a clothing closet for families and a Weekend daycare free of chaarge for single mothers. During the holiday season we adopted 25 families where we provided meals for the families and gifts for the entire household. In the short two years that we have been in excitence we have helped over 500 individuals. We have been able to assit these individuals all from donations from our church.
On November 24th 2014 our church that so many has called home was completely destroyed due to a fire. Due to the fire we have not been able to assist our community. Just last week while at the church I had a family that came by looking for help with food. I’m grateful to God that I was able to meet that small need but it was a reminder how much the community has a need and The Flood should be meeting the need. Our church has been trying to complete the process of moving forward with our rebuilding efforts. We are currently at a stand still due to lack of monies. A lot has gone into rebuilding our church and now that we are at the last phase we have ran out of money. Our contractor has told us that we need to have at least another $30,000 to complete the rebuild. While we do understand that $30,000 is a large amount of monies to be raised in such a short time. We are also asking for voulnteers, in kind donations, furniture, children’s church resources, building materials and prayers. This is the short list of what’s needed for the church. I have attached a couple of pictures of where the church is currently on this rebuild.

I sincerely ask that you please pray with us about any possible assistance to complete this project. We are like the children of Israel during this season of our life. We have Pharoah behind us and the Red Sea in front of us. As God has brought the Children of Israel out and guided them through the wilderness, into the promise land we trust that He will do the same for The Flood Christian Church.
