A Girl was Punched by a BOY on a Football pitch

Donation protected
A Few Months ago, during a PE lesson at School, we were playing a Football match  and I was Punched by a Boy after tackling him twice.

Yes, I was upset as it hurt. But I was more upset that a boy thought, not only that it was ok to punch a Girl, but did so simply because he clearly felt I was better than him at football.

I have played the game since I was 4yrs old. Like many girls, I have had sexist abuse from boys - and even some parents – simply for being a girl playing football. As if football should only be played by boys!

I want to turn this negative experience into a positive one by making an educational DVD . This would go to primary schools all over the country, to educate boys about the hurt it brings to girls when they are verbally and physically attacked for just for being a girl who enjoys the beautiful game of football.

There are many girls out there who have been put off playing football because of the sexist comments. I want to bring their stories to try to help educate young boys in the hope it will stop this happening to other young girls who want to play in the future.

I turned 13yrs old a few days before I was punched.  Since the age of 7 years old  I’ve raised thousands of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and other charities. I am also a Young Ambassador for the LGW charity which helps children living in poverty in Brazil.

I so love playing football and I should enjoy playing without the fear of being punched or receiving verbal abuse from boys and so should every girl who wants to play, its time the hurt from boys stops and I have so many ideas for this educational Dvd and just need to raise the money.

Thank you for reading this and I hope I can raise enough to make this idea a reality. I really want the physical and verbal abuse to stop .

Girls Love Playing Football and So they should as an equal player.
