Hi, everyone.  My name is Edward.  Most of you know me personally, some may not even remember me at all.  I moved to Texas in 2011.  Since then, I have run into many problems, mostly health issues.  I have tried dealing with these the best I can, but now I must ask for help.

You see, in September, I had my gall bladder removed due to gall stones.  I recovered from the surgery but, in the process, I became physically addicted to Norco.  I wasn't on it very long, but I know what I felt was real.

I was on disability from my work from September 19 through November 9th, when disability decided they needed more medical information to support my medical condition at the time.  My family Dr has been very kind to supply as much information to them as possible, however, it wasn't enough.  I have since requested they reach out to several specialists I see to assist me in getting the benefits I need in order to maintain a place to live and a car to drive.

My doctor wants me out of work to assist with healing, until after the new year, but if it goes unpaid like I fear it will, I will be completely bankrupt.

I have several health issues including bipolar, high blood pressure, diabetes and anemia.  I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lungs, although not as bad as I had in 2013.  I also have an unexplained GI bleed that is being researched by my GI doctor.  I am waiting on results from a procedure I just recently had.

I had to take out payday loans in order to pay rent this past month, something I am not even close to proud of, but it had to be done.

The money raised will be used to pay expenses that are past due and in danger of being shut off, as well as the cost of medication I need to refill for 3 more months.

This is the first time I have done this.  I understand that raising money takes time, and I do feel embarrassed asking for money from anyone.

I would be very grateful for any assistance anyone can provide in any amount, even well wishing would be nice.

I don't take any day I am alive for granted.  I have survived cancer twice in my life.  I know how precious life is.  There are people I have known, that didn't even survive it once.

Thank you for your help.
