Edmund Lowe was an actor of stage, radio, silent film, talkies and television.  His best known films were 1926's What Price Glory, and 1933's Dinner at Eight, playing the love interest of Jean Harlow.
Like many silent film actors, Edmund's career began to wain with the introduction of the talkies.  He still worked, but his roles became smaller and smaller.
Edmund passed away in 1971 and was buried at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in an unmarked grave. Almost 50 years later, we want to secure a headstone for Edmund and ensure that he is remembered by all.

I just realized I forgot to share the headstone mock-up on here! Oops!
Here it is, in a kinda shortened version. This page cut off the edges for some reason, but you get the idea. I just submitted the payment to the headstone company and was told it should take 1-2 weeks for it to be completed. Once it is done, I will pick it up and deliver it personally to the cemetery.
Things are really moving along! Thank you again to everyone who has donated.

Well! We have had an interesting turn of events this morning!
Originally, we were working with the cemetery to purchase a headstone through them. However, due to huge differences in cost, we are going to be be purchasing the headstone through Panda Memorials. Roger at Panda Memorials has been an amazing asset to these projects and helped to create Katherine Grant, Corliss Palmer, and Joe Keaton's headstones.
You may have noticed that we have dropped the asking amount considerably, and we are so thrilled to be able to do that. The only changes to the campaign are in cost and the delivery of the headstone. Because San Fernando Mission Cemetery is outside of Panda Memorial's delivery zone, I will personally be picking up the headstone and delivering it (I did the same thing for Corliss Palmer).
Hopefully I will have a mock up of the headstone to show you soon! And thank you again for your patience!

Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared the link so far. If you are part of classic film groups, please share there as well so we can cast our net even wider. I am going to keep pushing on my silent film Instagram so we can try and keep momentum.
