Taken tragically too soon from his family and friends by a drunk driver, Edgar Acosta was a loving father, husband and friend that was good to all those around him and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was an amazing person and a hard worker who put his family above all else. He was kind and loyal to his friends and always had a ready smile and a kind word to share. He was helpful, generous and thoughtful and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His sudden loss is the very meaning of tragedy, and his family is in desperate need of help to cope with this entirely unexpected event. He leaves behind his wife, three children and siblings whose lives will be forever affected by his loss. Let us not simply shake our heads and mourn the loss of this man, but instead come together as a community and give whatever we can, with no amount too small, to help this family in their time of need. We all sit back and talk about how sad we are when horrible things happen to the members of our community, yet all too often we take no action. Please, find it in your heart to donate anything possible to this beautiful family in order to help them cope with this tragedy.
