Who is Steve Kennedy?

The 32-year old Aussie fights out of Kickass MMA in Perth, Australia and is widely recognised as the most exciting, experienced and entertaining MMA fighter in the nation.

With an impressive 22 wins to his name and a holder of a number of Australian MMA,  Wrestling and Jujitsu titles  "the steam rolla" is an ambassador for australian sports men and fight fans everywhere, championing the return of the biggest fight competitions to Perth such as Eternal and Bragging Rights, and safer conditions for fighters in WA, the recent campaign Steven led for the safe and legal use of a cage fencing for MMA events within the state being a great example

The biggest recent win in his career so far is a 2013 submission over TUF: the smashes competitor  Manuel Rodriguez, but he also has wins over top Australian competition in Callan Potter, Cole Davids, and Sam Brown among others.

 Outside of MMA, Steve is a BJJ black belt and a national freestyle wrestling champion. Ever the willing warrior, He's even taken  pro boxing and Muay Thai fights on less than a week's notice, Steve never lets the fans down!

I need your help,  this is my first fight within the UFC that I have been able to train properly for (my first was taken on less than 2 weeks notice as I love to fight for the fans) 

I'm just a normal guy, I used to fight as a hobby, I had a normal 9-5 full time job, I delivered office supplies and then trained in all of my spare time,  I'm just like you.  

If you are a fight fan like me you know the passion that runs within Perth and WA for MMA is huge and has massive potential to be something much more, bigger shows, more exciting athletic athletes showcasing their talent and like all the fight fans and fighters I know in WA, a desire to show the world what we are really all about.

I'm desperate to do this and put Aussies everywhere on the world wide MMA map as skilled and exciting  fighters, with fans worth putting huge televised shows on for, which can only be good for everyone in WA, but to do that I need your help.

I've taken a massive risk, I've quit my job so I can train, so I can come into this fight as fit, strong and aggressive as I've ever been, so I can put on the show that you, the most important people to me, the fans, deserve and make the powers that be in the UFC and the Australian government sit up and take notice.
