Brendan's medical bills

As many of you have heard, Brendan was diagnosed with Low-Risk Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMD).  He had surgery 2 weeks ago to remove a large mass and last week we learned it wasn't the Seminoma we thought it would be, but rather RMD, which is a cancerous tumor of tissue.  Treatment will consist of 2 12 week courses of three different types of chemotherapy and possibly radiation therapy for 4-6 weeks.

Brendan is scheduled to have a central line (port) put in surgically next Tuesday, along with having some lymph nodes removed.  He will be in-patient and will receive his first chemo treatment Wednesday.  The port will allow Brendan to receive his chemo and to have his frequent blood draws done without the need for individual needle pokes (sorry Beth!).


We are feeling such love and support, and we feel your prayers and good thoughts.  For all the cards, messages, hugs, prayers, meals, gifts....we are truly thankful.
