Eating Disorder Recovery for Analicia

I am writing this on behalf of a family who happen to be good friends of mine and their daughter Analicia. Analicia was diagnosed with Anorexia in October 2018 which is an eating disorder. There is not enough awareness of eating disorders which make it hard for those who suffer with this disease to seek help. This disease placed Analicia’s health in major jeopardy, through the months it got harder to manage and she was placed on a Eating Disorder waitlist at Children's Hospital.  Analicia is a bright and smart young woman who is currently a high school senior and exceeds beyond expectation. She was admitted to Children’s Hospital on December 11, 2018 and spent every day there for 8 weeks. Monica who is the mother of Analicia switched from working full time to less than part time to be with her every day at the hospital, as her father Chris stood working full time to make sure the rest of family was being supported. It does not matter what age your child is, a parent will make sacrifices to be by their child’s side during a rough time. Monica and Chris are parents of 4 young children and have sacrificed a lot during this tough time. As of this moment Analicia does not have medical insurance and her hospital bills have sky rocketed. Even though Analicia is back home she is still under treatment and has a long recovery journey. Monica has gone to working full time again and recently got herself a 2nd job to be able to pay for all the medical bills that have piled up and to catch up on what was left behind with regular bills. Monica and Chris also want to be able to afford medical insurance for Analicia for her future treatments. The family would also like to be able to give Analicia a nice graduation party this summer and not have to struggle to give that to her after all she’s been through. We are asking for your help, any slight donation is always helpful and will be greatly appreciated.  Let’s help this family get back on their steady feet! Please also raise awareness on eating disorders because that also associates with mental health and many of those who suffer don't receive help!
