We live in stressful and hectic times. Mental health, work pressure, skyrocketing rents, juggling part-time jobs, stagnant wages and incessant updates of bleeps/bloops on our smartphones.
Sometimes you just need to escape - #Éalú
Over the coming weeks, we aim to highlight how music provides an essential "escape" from the struggles facing young people today. This will have a particular emphasis on our mental health as we will be raising funds for Shine - Supporting People Affected by Mental Ill Health.
Shine "aim to empower people with mental ill health and their families through support, information and education. We also advocate for social change, promoting and defending the right of all those affected by mental ill health to equal rights and quality services".
