Mission Statement:
Precious Momentz seeks to empower teenage mothers, ages 13-21, We will be connecting them to a supportive community of other teen mothers and adult mentors, equipping them with desired life skills, and, ultimately, impacting their future in a positive way.
Why do you want to do this?
God has placed a vision in my heart to help these young ladies. Teen pregnancy is something dear to my heart. I was a teen parent myself. I was very lucky to have two sets of good grandparents. My mom and his mom gave me a lot of help and support so I could have a teenage life and most importantly finish school and work. I was very lucky because most don’t have a support system in place. So I got a group of fellow successful women together so we can put together a conference for us to give the young ladies all the tools they need to become a successful member of society and most importantly good mothers. We want to open their eyes to the struggles that teen moms face and allow them to see the patterns of how many girls end up pregnant at such a young age to begin with. Many teen moms suffer from the long-lasting effects of emotional, physical &/or sexual abuse or grief, loss and low self-esteem. Without dealing with the root issues and having the tools and recourses to become a productive member of society it is hard to break the chain. As a teenager (prior to becoming pregnant) I experienced most of the issues that are listed above. I felt lost, alone and hopeless. My hope is not only to help teen moms but also prevent future teen pregnancy.
ABOUT US:
We are a group of Women who were at one time teenage mothers. So were very passionate about what we are going to accomplish with these young mothers. There is a lack of services for teen moms and pregnant teens, we wanted to give teen moms a positive place where they feel loved instead of judged.
We want to encourage setting educational and career goals for each teen mom that we work with and walk beside her to accomplish her goals as well as to provide a safe place of encouragement, hope and support through mentors and their fellow community of teenage mothers. We want them to know that we love them and Most Importantly God loves them. Precious Momentz will encourage independence through teaching the ladies life skills such as; budgeting, money management, job interviewing skills, stress, anger management and so much more. Precious Momentz is not only going to change lives in the world of the teen moms, it will also change the community. The impact of a girl who will not stay on welfare throughout her lifetime and who is going to give her and her child a brighter future leads to a better economy and society. So that is our goal!
WE NEED YOUR HELP:
our goal is to raise $5,000
and We want to have the conference for 50 young teenage moms in the Hampton roads area. We will provide them with transportation, a catered lunch, guest speakers and to top off the Teen Summit . We will throw the ladies a huge baby shower supplying them with a crib and all the essentials they will need for their child.

Feed The Homeless in Virginia Beaches Oceanfront. We started at 150 plates in 2013 last year 2015 We went to 500. The Homeless was blessed with a hot meal, giving blanets, toiletries and shoes.
