Manchester Terror Attack victims

I am sure you are all aware of the Manchester Terror Attacks that occured on the 22nd of May 2017.
The horror it brought to the nation but mainly the pain and suffering that is now a reality to those those directly effected by the attack.
Many tattoo artists across Manchester have set up an appeal in order to raise money for the victims and their families to try and assist in this time of sorrow. The money raised by this appeal will be donated by tattoo studios across the city to the Justgiving page which has been set up by the M.E.N in partnership with the British Red Cross. 
A simple bee is going to be tattooed on thousands of individuals across Manchester in the hope to raise money for the cause and as a symbol that We stand stogether in this unforgettable tragic event. 

My best friend (Emma Gaskell) and myself live in a small town not far from Manchester. We have close friends who attended the very concert where this horrific attack happened. The whole of Tuesday morning I sat in work worried sick watching the updates of casualties, thinking this could potentially be one of my friends. I was lucky enough to have heard from my friends by the middle of the morning confirming that they were safe and unharmed.... unfortunatly this was not the reality for many others who were there.  For the rest of the day I sat there listening to the radio, stunned, I wondered how I could possibly help. 

When I got home I had been tagged in a post for the Manchester tattoo appeal by Emma. She commented "Your first tattoo?" 

And now we are here... 

We have now each paid £20 deposit for a tattoo to be done on Sunday 28th of May at 10am at Inkin Tattoo Studio. The remaining £30 each will be paid by ourselves on the day as our way of a donation. 

I then thought why not go further and see if we can raise money. 

As this is My first tattoo and as an incentive (if one is really needed at a time like this) I will video the tattoo being done to raise that little bit  extra.

That is the reason for this gofundme campaign, so friends on facebook can donate to the cause. I have also set up a collection at Mercedes Benz of Macclesfield (where I work) so that on Sunday the 28th of May the money can be pooled together and donated directly to the M.E.N Justgiving page and then used by them in the areas where it is most needed. 
 
If anyone felt as useless as I did, Just sitting there horrified by what I was hearing, wondering how I could possibly help then this could be your chance.  
 

This is not only fundraiser for those our thouhts have been with but also a symbol of the spirit of Manchester and how our community will only grow Stronger. #westandtogether
