My parents are Mary and Tim Borggreen. They are the founders and owners of Olde Dominion Pest and Termite Control, parents of 4 children 3 boys and 1 girl, and grandparents to 8 beautiful grandchildren. Our family has had a rough time over the past few years. In 2013 my brother Tim JR past on suddenly from an infection at the age of 27. Our family was devastated and rocked to it's core. The pain was strong and still lingers today, however we have become stronger. My father was diagnosed early this year with cancer. Squamous Cell (a type of aggressive skin cancer) grew on the side of his nose. Drs removed that spot in late February and we thought that was the end of that. In May we found out that it had come back and spread below the skin. He now had a tumor that laid beneath his left eye spreading into the muscles of the eye and his sinus cavity. In August Drs removed the tumor and unfortunately his left eye as well leaving him with scars on his face, head, arm, leg, and neck. Once again we thought it was over. Two weeks ago he entered into the hospital again because of an infection in his head that does not want to go away. We live in Fredericksburg, VA and all of his doctors are in Washington DC. Now we have recently also discovered that my mom is dealing with Extreme Hyper Thyroid disease which is causing heart palpitations, major swelling, and other major side effects as well. Her doctors are also in Washington DC because of their health insurance. As much as our family has tried to battle this on our own it has become extremely difficult for my parents to afford to pay their bills, gas, and medical expenses. My brothers and I have been trying to help as much as possible to keep their business running, take care of them and their home, and support in any way possible. My parents are amazing generous human beings that will give their shirts off their backs to help someone in need and now they need a small bit of assistance. I understand that not many people can help financially but we ask that you please pray for my parents and ask God to help them through this trying time. Thank you all for your support!
