After a summer of wonderful events, jet-setting to various places around the world and barely seeing each other, Dynamic Dragons are coming together and participating in the Dragon Boat Race at Bewl Water on 8th September!  We will be raising money for the Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat Association!

Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat Association is an independent inshore rescue boat facility depending solely on public donations and sponsorship. Our own team member, Jo Stapley, is currently training to be on the regular lifeboat crew and spends her weekends out on the RIB and training in the waters off Rye.  She plans to be part of the full-time volunteer lifeboat crew.

They have helped search for missing yachts, rescued walkers and their dogs trapped on Fairlight cliffs by incoming tides, caught sea birds that have been contaminated by oil pollution and taken them to the RSCPA at Mallydams. They’ve helped the RNLI search for missing children at Camber Beach and work alongside the Rye Bay Coastguard to ensure that everyone who comes to this stretch of coast is as safe as they can be. The charity also gave assistance to Robertsbridge during the floods of 2001, and featured in the BBC Programme “Coast”.

Every year, the crew, trustees and supporters work extremely hard to raise funds, through charity events and open days, in order to meet the rescue boat’s running costs. The Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat is one of only a handful of independent rescue boats still operating around the British coast. You can find out more about the PLIRB charity on their website.

Dynamic Dragons need to raise £2,000.00 for the charity before the race. Dynamic Events team 'Dynamic Dragons' will be raising  money by putting on a local Pub Quiz in Rye, doing a car boot sale and raising funds online. Dynamic Conferences & Events Ltd will be match-funding the amount raised by these activities.

We would appreciate any donations from Dynamic Dragons' friends, families, clients, suppliers, fans and admirers - CHEERS!

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
