Bart Ostrom's Family

As some of you may know, our friend and brother-in-law Bart Ostrom was diagnosed on July 11, 2014 with stage four Bile duct cancer - a very rare type of cancer that forms in the tube-like bile ducts that transports bile from the liver to the small intestine.  Monique and the boys have been overwhelmed by the love and emotional support they’ve received from friends, family and co-workers over the past several weeks.  Monique, Cameron and Ryan have displayed tremendous strength in the face of surprising and disappointing news about Bart’s deteriorating condition. After several weeks of testing, the doctors recommended Bart live out his remaining days at home in the care of his family and he lost his battle on August 30, 2014.  Many of you have inquired about how you can support them in their moment of despair.  Right now, nothing is more precious than their time together as a family.  Medical bills and living costs have added up quickly, and your financial support will help them focus on what’s most important, family. We are blessed by our large network of friends and family so even a small donation has the potential to make an impact and help  with their unexpected medical costs.
