Dwayne is a loving brother and friend.
Dwayne has been fighting alcoholism for many years and it has now put him in critical condition.
Because of this terrible situation many payments to keep his home, car and to care for himself are required to be paid before he starts his journey to recovery and to continue looking after his 2 wonderful kids.
Any donation to help the family take care of his deadlines would be greatly appreciated while he continues his recovery.
Current situation :
Dwayne was transferred back to the Winchester hospital where he will receive more extensive physio and they will continue to monitor his blood work. We spoke with the doctor and he said Dwayne will probably be discharged next week and that he will require an alcohol treatment program to deal with his alcoholism, when we checked all government funded treatments have over a year wait list. Due to the importance of Dwayne getting all the help he can to facilitate his recovery we feel it is essential that he be enrolled in a program as soon as he is discharged. The treatment program we selected is a private nonprofit treatment program but there is still substantial cost.
The doctors have told us that Dwayne's life expectancy is at the most 2 years without a liver transplant, he will be followed by a hepatologist and he will have to be alcohol free for 6 months before he even qualifies to go on the transplant list hence the importance of the alcohol treatment program.
