The strength of the Daredevils lies in their overwhelming drive to succeed, innovate, and improve within our team, as well as to give the team members the tools to succeed beyond the world of FIRST.
The Duluth East Daredevils are a FIRST robotics team from Duluth, Minnesota. This is our 10th year competing in FIRST robotics. We competed at the Northern Lights Regional which took place from March 1st-4th. This was located in Duluth. At this regional, we were ranked 5th, taking 2nd place in the event, and recieving the Wildcard to attend the World Championships in St. Louis which takes place April 26th-29th. Our second regional took place in Cedar Falls, Iowa during March 22nd-25th. We ended up ranked 7th before playoffs started. We were selected by the 1st place alliance, who helped us make it to the finals once more. Our team is so excited to go back to Worlds where we placed second last time, and we are hoping to do as well again!
As you can imagine, St. Louis is very expensive. With 47 people going on this trip, the cost will be very substantial. Our estimated expenditures for the trip are $31,500. The money raised for this will go to transportation, rooming, and all of the restaurant expenses. Any donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
